Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Team Leader

Our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) services provide children with recreation-based activities with emphasis on social interaction and a sense of fun in a safe and secure environment. A range of activities are offered including art, sports, games, dramatic play, nature-based play, cooking and excursions.

We are currently seeking experienced and passionate OSHC Team Leaders. The successful candidates will be responsible for leading and managing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs, and maintaining positive relationships with families, schools, and the wider community.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work collaboratively with the Service Manager/OSHC Manager and other leadership staff to achieve the goals and objectives of the service.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the OSHC service, including program planning, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Develop and implement program plans that meet the individual needs and interests of the children.

Our offer

  • Permanent full-time appointment (38 hours/week) – multiple positions
  • Salary of CSE 4-5 $69,778.13 to $75,076.91 p.a., depending on skills and experience, plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • 10% above award wages with WCS Enterprise Agreement.
  • Broken shift allowance (where applicable).
  • Paid shutdown leave on standard working days between Christmas and New Year.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma in Early Education and Care (or ACEQA approved equivalent)
  • Extensive skills, knowledge and experience in OSHC, including demonstrated use of the My Time, Our Place and Early Years Learning frameworks.

To be eligible for employment, you must have an active Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card, working rights in Australia, and be willing to undertake background checks required for the position, including a National Police Check.
