Join Us for a Special Screening of Unconditional - Carers Week
Event
With Carers week coming up next week make sure you Join Us for a screening of Unconditional.

Behind every person receiving care is often someone quietly giving their time, energy and heart to support them.
On 13 October at 12:30pm, we invite the community to join us at the Woden Youth Centre for a special screening of Unconditional, a powerful Australian documentary that shines a light on the often unseen experiences of carers.
Written, directed and produced by Dalanglin Dkhar, a mother and primary carer for her autistic, non-speaking son, Unconditional tells a deeply personal story while giving voice to an often invisible community of Australians.
Through the stories of four carers from different walks of life, the film explores the realities of caring for a loved one over many years. Their journeys are filled with dedication, resilience, challenges, advocacy and above all, unconditional love. Audiences are invited into their homes and their lives, gaining a deeper understanding of the impact caring can have on every aspect of a person's world.
For many carers, the role is one they never expected to take on. It can be rewarding, exhausting, isolating and life-changing all at once. Yet despite the significant contribution carers make to our communities, their experiences often go unnoticed. Unconditional offers an opportunity to listen, learn and recognise the extraordinary people who provide care every day.
Whether you are a carer yourself, know someone who is, work alongside carers, or simply want to better understand the experiences of others in our community, this screening promises to be both moving and thought-provoking.
We hope you'll join us at the Woden Youth Centre on 13 October at 12:30pm to experience this important film and help celebrate the compassion, strength and commitment of carers across Australia.
