We offer various high quality services at Evatt to meet every families needs for children attending Evatt Preschool, Primary School and the surrounding Belconnen area.

PEEPS at Evatt

Our playgroup at Evatt provides a safe environment for children to play in an educational setting.

Evatt Preschool

Evatt Preschool Program offers a safe, secure and stimulating environment for your child and our friendly and qualified educators have your child’s best interests at heart. The structured program focuses on education outcomes and school readiness while providing a small group environment with a high educator to child ratio.

On occasion, the preschool program may be combined with the senior program. Parents will be notified before this happens.

Out of School Hours Care

Evatt OSHC provides a safe and caring environment with recreation based activities that allow for choice, spontaneity and flexibility. At Evatt OSHC, our programs aim to celebrate diversity and recognise that play, fun, and humour are vital to school age care. Our educators also recognise the importance of building respectful relationships with children, families, the community and the environment.

Preschool Before School Care

Our Preschool Before School Care program caters for children 3 years old to Kindergarten. We serve a nutritious breakfast and offer inside and outdoor activities to engage your child’s brain as they start their day.

The program operates out of the WCS Preschool building. Our educators escort children who attend the ACT government preschool to the outdoor space and hand them to the preschool teachers, and escort kindergarten children to their classroom.

Preschool After School Care

Our Preschool After School Care program caters for children 3 years old to Kindergarten. We serve a nutritious snack for afternoon tea and offer an inclusive environment with a focus on building children’s social skills, resilience and connection to their world.

The program operates out of the WCS Preschool building. Our educators collect children who attend the ACT government preschool from the outdoor space, and collect kindergarten children from their classroom.

Seniors After School Care

Our Seniors After School Care program operates out of the school hall and caters for children from Kindergarten through to year 6. We serve a nutritious snack for afternoon tea and offer an inclusive environment with a focus on building children’s social skills, resilience and sustainability.

Our After School care programs allow for regular interactions between the Juniors and Seniors programs, which we believe helps to build relationships and a sense of community.

School Holiday Program

Our service at Evatt Primary provides a school holiday program for children aged 3 years to grade 6. Each school holidays we aim to provide a blend of excursions, incursions and in-service activities, we believe that this caters for all families and mimics a home like environment. We serve a nutritious snack for afternoon tea and ask families to provide morning tea and lunch for their child.
