Woden Children’s Fair

More Than a Fair: Community, Play and Support.

Families across Canberra are invited to join in the fun when the Woden Children’s Fair returns to Lyons this September, bringing together free activities, entertainment, community services and plenty of opportunities for children to play, learn and connect.

Hosted by Woden Community Service at Lyons Early Childhood School, the annual event has become a much-loved community tradition, offering a welcoming space where families can come together, meet local services and enjoy a morning of fun without spending a cent. This year’s fair will feature hands-on activities including Lego, Play-Doh, painting and creative play experiences, along with a free sausage sizzle, free toys and books, family friendly entertainment and information about local cost-of-living support services.

This year’s fair will once again take place at Lyons Early Childhood School, home to Lyons Early Learning Centre, a service that supports children from infancy through to school age and works closely with the school community to create a smooth learning journey for local children.
